The Most Useful Thing I’ve Done with AI This Week (That Took 2 Minutes)

Not everything in AI is about big automations or game-changing features.

Sometimes, the most useful thing you do is the one that saves you five minutes and a mild headache.

This week, mine was simple: I used a GPT model to help me reword a client email. I knew what I wanted to say—but the tone was just slightly off. Too formal. Too much hedging. It didn’t sound like me.

I pasted it in, explained what I needed, and within 30 seconds I had three cleaner options—one of which I tweaked slightly and sent off.

It wasn’t revolutionary. It didn’t touch any data. But it kept the momentum going. And sometimes, that’s the real value of AI in everyday work.

So if you’re only thinking about AI in terms of the big stuff—fully automated processes, complete content pipelines, entire workflows—don’t forget the small wins.

AI can be:

  • A second brain when yours is tired

  • A writing partner with infinite patience

  • A way to avoid getting stuck on silly things like subject lines

It’s not always about saving hours. Sometimes, it’s about saving yourself from the tiny friction points that wear you down.

And those little time-savers? They add up.
